I drove down the local Bypass, a dual-carriageway, this morning.
Normally it's not a specially beautiful road, but today I was thrilled to see that.........
Wild primroses were carpeting the banks, some bravely clinging onto the kerbs, some shyly peeping out from under cover of the shrubs higher up the bank.
There were pink clumps as well as the usual creamy yellow.
It only takes minutes to traverse that road, but what pleasure there was today to see these lovely wild flowers.
Being sensible, I didnt stop to photograph them, so have to give you some stock photos.
It's a busy road and I wondered if everyone was seeing them and enjoying them as I did or whether they were just fixated on driving.
Moments of beauty, and so appreciated on my drive.
