My Costume Pics

These are my very own Halloween flavored pictures! Yah photos memories since I have little to no recollection of most of this, with a few exceptions of course. Just so you know I grew up in a cave and lack the skills needed to scan pictures into a computer. I decided to take pictures of my pictures to avoid that technology altogether, so please excuse the awful quality of these photos.

This is the earliest Halloween picture of myself I could find amongst my mom's mess of photos. Actually there were more photo boxes but I got tired of treasure hunting. My grandmother made me this funky little clown frock. Even in a floppy costume and crazed clown makeup my mother couldn't resist to pose me. In case your wondering how old I am due to the oldies flavored furniture, I was born in 82 so back off!! I'm pretty sure that couch was covered in plastic too.

I'm going to guess I'm 5 or 6 here. I'm pretty sure that's a fake smile I'm sporting. Could it be due to the fact that I'm sitting on the lap of one of the creepiest looking scarecrows? Are scarecrows not scary enough without monster alien type half masks on them? I guess not.

This is a horrible picture but I think it's awesome how angry and snotty I look as a princess. I'm thinking I'm 9ish here. (I really wish my mom had keep better record of my Halloween costumes years but I guess she was to busy raising us, sheshhh!) This was at some school Halloween parade, I loved those! And yes that is my little sister looking like the scariest clown I have ever seen.

I'm 10ish here. It's one of my more memorable Halloweens. I remember sitting in a chair while my mom did my makeup(My mom loved dressing my little sister and me up for impromptu photo shoots and we loved the excuses to play dress up!) watching my favorite show, are you afraid of the dark. It was one of the warmer Halloweens, which means we didn't have to lug around our coats while trick or treating. Fun times.

This is a picture of me, my little sister, and the neighbor boy and our carved pumpkins. You can't really tell what we carved and we're not dressed up at all but I just love Polaroids. I'm probably about 12 here.

This is a pic of my dear mother looking just plan sassy pre-me. I had to include it because the picture is just so darn vintage-y. Btw that halo and flash is not my doing but actually appears in the photo.

p.s. This was by far one of the most frustrating posts to post ever!! for some reason the pictures did not want to load in the order I wanted to put them, the normally reliable copy-paste method didn't want to work the way I wanted it to. So frustrating!!

p.s.s. Tonight's the last night to sign up for my book giveaway here.
