It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.
Today was an easy day to be thankful. After a nice lunch with my daughter Kaitlyn, I took Trey for a walk on the Trans Canada Trail near where I live. It was sunny and cool and perfect for walking with a four-legged friend. The autumn colours were wonderful.
The light illuminated some leaves from behind, reminding me of stained-glass windows.
The trees don't change colour all at the same time, nor do they all turn red. I have seen fully green Maple trees with one branch of bright orange leaves.
As I walked I thought about the many things I have to be grateful for.
A relatively sound mind.
